We are a small biodynamic farm committed to growing nutritious food, learning, and giving back.

Our History

Originally established in 1975, Valentines Farm was re-conceived as a small biodynamic farm in 2016.
Over time, the farm was leased and subdivided from its original 40 acres, and currently encompasses roughly four acres.

At Valentines Farm we grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruits using biodynamic practices on a low till, permanent bed system. We also keep honeybees and laying hens that forage above and below our fruit trees, berry bushes, and hedgerows. Click here to read more!

Valentines Farm welcomes a select group of students every year and provides them with the opportunity to gain hands-on practical experience with farming – from soil health and biodynamics to growing 40+ crops using small scale techniques and tools. Click here to read more!

We love sharing the seasonal bounty of our nutritious produce with those in our area through our stand at Deep Roots Farmers Market where we welcome beneficiaries of the FMNP Program as well as through donations to NOSH / North Shore Soup Kitchen.
